This part of ASAP* is devoted to ImageReady, a Web oriented
component coming to you with the 6th, 7th, 8th (CS) and 9th (CS2) versions of Photoshop.
NB Photoshop CS3 doesn't include ImageReady. Surviving without this component is covered in the fresh version of "ASAP" video-course.
Before we actually got started with our lesson I'd
like to tell about today's sample image. Suppose, we
(you and me) want to sell pieces of fine art through
Internet. We have registered a catchy domain name and
now in the process of building a web page presenting
one of our lots (don't you mind Narcissus by Caravaggio?).
I've made most of the editing in Photoshop and saved
the image as layered PSD file (download
it here). Now it's your turn: convert this
still image into an interactive and compact web page,
using my hopefully humble prompts.
