Photoshop Elements Tutorials > Handling Palettes (1)

1. In the Palette Bin, pull the How To palette by its title bar and drop between other palettes to change the palette order in the bin Go to movie frame

2. To minimize a palette, click its button. To maximize it, click this button again Go to movie frame

3. Drag the How To palette out the bin as it is shown in the movie. Now you can place it anywhere on your screen Go to movie frame

4. In our course we won't use the How To palette, so let's hide it. By default, it only closes to Palette Bin. To close it completely, open the palette menu, deselect "Place in Palette Bin" option and then close the palette Go to movie frame

5. Pull the Layers palette out the bin. Then drag the Layers and Styles and bundle it with the Layers, as it is shown in the movie Go to movie frame

6. From the pull down menu, choose Window > Undo History to display this palette. Then drag it by the tab (and not by the palette's title bar) and bundle with the 2 other palettes Go to movie frame

Attention! This tutorial was composed for Photoshop Elements 4.0 and 3.0. Instruction for the older versions available here.
